Here's a review of the upcoming IE7. Note: this is just a review on the beta build 20th March. I'm not a firefox fan actually, guess many open source software supporters outside would want to give me a hard slap on the face. Just face it i'm more like a Bill Gate's fan :p As you can see the lay out is totally different from the previous IE. IE 7 is to coordinate with the upcoming Windows Vista which is said to make security a priority. Though 1 added prominent feature is the phising filter, but this won't be very important for those who do not do online money transaction. Notice the back and foward buttons have already been changed to suit Vista style. Then the conventional "file, edit" bar is gone to give much space for the web page the user is viewing though one can still view it from the classic view. Tabbed browsing is added in this version to counter Firefox and after demands for the users but with one added feature "quick tab" where one can view all the tabs that are currently running. Beginner might find it hard to use at 1st, but like me after 2 months on the going, it's just as simple as b4. except the fact that the refresh and stop buttons are moved to the end of the address bar.The search bar are revamped, and users can set the prefered search engine that they like. I wouldn't say that this is the best browser of all time but i would suggest that Microsoft to create a better revolutionary web browser for the next generation of OS.
