Education tells a lot doesn't it. I do agree that Singapore is led by many brilliant leaders who are also excellent scholars in many fields. I also think that the selection of leaders in Singapore is more open and based on merits. I wonder when would Malaysia start with an open policy and disclose the education background and past history of a politician. Right now, we do not know a lot about our own politicians than we already have, of course, only knowing the fact that they're nice people. Talk about blind vote. We vote based on brand name. Majority as always would always vote for the current government, others who are opposition would vote for the other parties. The clash of interest is not so much about the plans envisioned by a party, but is rather based more on the popularity of a party. We need better highlights on each party and what they can offer on tv. Right now, we don't see a lot of that.
