So the new MSN messenger 8.0 is called as windows messenger live 8.0. I've been using the beta version since the 1st release like a few months ago... And yesterday microsoft finally released the end product... notice there's no longer a beta sign under it.. woohoo... lol

Prior to that microsoft also released IE 7 beta 3... come on the beta just cannot end lol... They are slight changes such as the add as favourite button , the shading of the tabs and the page button which is loacted in between the tools and printer button. Overall the performance is still the same, Don;t ask me about security stuffs coz i dunno hahhaha

Beta 2:

Beta 3:

So check out the difference by yourself lol... I love goodies from microsoft :p

Taken from my other blog http://www.jefcey.blogspot.com Sugar, spice & everything nice, which are the ingredients to create the Power Puff Girls, but how about success in life? What do you need in order to succeed in life? But how do we define success? Is it academically? Is it in business? Is it in sports? In courting girl*strictly for the black guy!!

They say if you have a lot of false friends and enemies, which means you are very successful. It’s true if you are Lex Luthor… But how will you feel if no one visit your funeral when you die? Does that mean you are very successful?

Strictly I don’t think we need anything to be successful. How hard is it for us to live without comparing with others for being successful or not? I drive a BMW around whistling at every hot chicks and ask them to ride with me, is that successful? Black guy please answer this.
But heck I’m just 18, I don’t need to look so far, enjoy life, try not to get in other’s way, which I love to do so much… Trying to be destructive… Laugh at others’ failure… lol… damn I’m a born loser… hahahaha

But really how to be successful in life? Maybe the key to be successful in life is just be happy, live everyday to the fullest as if there’s no tomorrow. If you ask me this, I will laugh my head off in front of you… Am I successful? Hahaha guess....
by Angelus

The common cliché : “Hard work is a key to success”. To me, I personally think it’s not exactly the amount of hard work you pour in, but the quality of it. And some even have this stereo-type of mentality that as long as you get a first class honest, you’ll be successful in life as you don’t have to worry about finding a job. No doubt, it does help you in getting a brighter future, but what’s the point if you don’t have social and communicating skills? Those with better communicating skills gain their places in higher status compared to the anti – social ones. Working smartly is definitely a better option. Look at Bill Gates, he’s a dropped-out student, and look where is he at right now? One of the richest man in the world! How are you going to compare to that then?

However, unlike some unlucky ones, like me, who are simply not born with a golden spoon in the mouth, there are those who are born successful. Check out Paris Hilton, she’s successful without needing any hard work or brains. Well, in short, it actually depends on what type of background you have. Donald Trump is successful, but he was already rich before he became very successful due to his economical background. It’s difficult to compare success. Everyone is successful in their own ways, as long as you are happy doing what you love most.

Still have 2 days before college ends and everything will come to a halt. So many things happened within these past 2 years, meeting cool super seniors, casper, king ung, ALM 4 seniors, and now …
BIG TIME DUH!!!! I’m not going to leave this place also until this December hahahaha.. but the medic students of my batch is leaving. PS: The black guy is staying in the hostel for the next 3 weeks, so lonely juniors, please feel free to visit him …

And I already gave up on courting HS. Why? Just we are not compatible I think, gave WT back the digi card he lent me. It’s so funny when life just throws a book on your face and plays a big joke out of you. We just simply dun speak the same language, by this we have different attitude. Metaphor used here. So black guy don’t try to correct my “Engrish” lol

Another matter, to little Joycey. I’m sorry not intended to provoke or insult you for the past 2 days. But I don’t know.. Just feel like it. Hahahhaha. Somehow after knowing you like since you were in form 3 this is the first time we got into a uite serious argument … Really people with many similarities tend to argue more lol… And heck my attitude is like a 12 year old angry kid with full of tantrum, so you have to forgive me, coz I DO forgive you …. Hahahaha….Nah you are an ok gal… Bt argue once in a while also not bad what, get everyone closer :p at east we know the relationship is not superficial. Thanks by the way for “accompany” me for all those days, lonely bus ride, boring nights, you were there all of the time… And I hope I will do the same for you. So, go gal :p Theworld is waiting for you and there’s nothing out there to stop you except I’m better than you.

Moving Out

It is devastating to see those who have lived around you for three months move out for summer. Boxes stacked, luggage packed and furniture stored, people are walking out of the dorm every minute of the hour. Hugs of goodbye, handshakes, last minute dinners and farewell drinks were the last few things we shared in common before the semester ended and a new fresh school year to start next fall. Things happened so fast and I've just started to know some people and really appreciate their presence around me (although you may think they're really peculiar and annoying during normal school days). It's difficult for people to show you their true nature and the last thing we want is to be perceived as being weak and overly emotional. This last few days have taught me more about the true lives of people and how hard they work until spring ends. After a few handshakes, a few goodbyes, tears shed, everyone is on their way back home for the holidays - some halfway around the globe as far as Singapore, some China, Hong Kong, Shanghai and locally within the states. It is always best to know that we have given our best to those around us because our time around them is temporary. We do eventually part and their lives are of no concern with ours but we have made their life more meaningful by just being there temporarily. Even if it is just a little help moving out or a smile everyday at the hallway, we can light up the lives of people and bring ease to their hearts. Little things can count towards touching people's life and making their lives more meaningful for them. We are eventually individuals but we can always make another person happy if we have the time. Love is never limited. It's not so much about receiving back the affection, but it's rather the satisfaction that you have lived your life well and you will not regret your purpose in this world.

p/s: Only help those who are deserving and who have the capacity to receive. There are some people who do not appreciate help sometimes.

Purposeful Life

Sometimes I feel I'm walking a waking dream, when the sun will rise and the cock will crow but it remains an imprint of the mind. The place I go, the ground that I walk, the people I meet and things I see are non-existing physical realities that the mind perceives as reality. I feel like I am in a virtual world where things suddenly appear and disappear without a certain reason. Everything ticks differently and doesn't coincide with time. Time flows in alternate realities and some parts of this world trickles slow while some parts of this world has overlapping time leaps a few moments at a time. Reality I see here is not real, and the more I try to convince myself that it is, the more I think it isn't. It is just a dream and an illusion.

Perhaps it's caused by the lives of people here. We are here for one purpose and the purpose is to fulfill our dreams (dreams which may not be ours and merely an idealization). And until we have fulfilled our dreams, other things, creating a family, having more friends and indulging in our self pleasures come last in the list. This is the driving force for every man, mule or ant here. Even the birds in the sky don't waste their time looking out for food on the beach and taking every opportunity there is to feed. Why are people so thirsty? Why are they always looking for things that they already have? The drive that keeps us to one goal makes one empty of everything and divinity could not exist. One looses feelings, love and kindness. This is the fundamental essence that this world comes from. And without love and kindness, there wouldn't be creativity, no music, no art, no poetry and no writing that comes from the heart of man. All that exists are empty words and empty lines that fill numerous pages but are as good as empty cases (but applauded by superficial audiences who are awed by its wordiness and tact) . We seek what we seek not because it is an ideal dream of most people and is a customary dream we should all seek. We seek what we seek because we love it and we want to spend our time doing it and getting the best of it. This I believe, not many people understand. And until then, America will always remain as an ideal place. A place where ideal dreams live. But beneath the texture of the society and the world, little exists but a hollow and lonely grave. This is the reality I perceive. All problems, social, economic and political comes from this. And whenever there is no kindness, love and real feelings from the heart, this place suffers and suffocates. A place which is based on sole materialism and self importance and selfishness can only last for as long as their driven self energy remains. And once that energy diminishes, there is no more to fill a person with joy and happiness except for love and grace that is felt from the heart.

I quote:
....Only the Heart of Christ who knows the depths of his Father's love could reveal to us the abyss of his mercy in so simple and beautiful a way ----From the Catechism. P:1439.

I believe that we can all try to find the love of god with in us. Religion should come from within not from outside. Radiate what you truly feel and truly want to do, and that is true love from god. Religion and spirituality although good can be experienced the wrong way. True religion and spirituality cultivates inner love and love for all. And this is truly an embodiment of the eternal and immaculate teacher. The Jews never call their god by his name. They believe he is far too sacred and profound to be called by a simple name. Names are superficial and that they understand. The world is also superficial too in this sense, names, positions and titles. So what if you are a CEO of a company or a doctor. Do you have what it takes to fill your life with purpose and lead a love-driven life? Have all who have seen you felt comfortable and secure and loved? Or have you been wasting your time with a driven self energy and self centered self that would soon burn out. The world is superficial and empty. Nothing is real except for immaculate love and until that is found, you will be searching for something that has never existed and you would never be able to find it.

Sigh, the longest 2 days have passed…luckily managed to get 7 hours of sleep for each day, not bad huh? The others slept like 2 to 5 hours .. and V was very cute, I woke this morning seeing him sleeping on the couch in front of my room.. lol ….English paper was ok ok only.. if really got an A that would really be an icing on the cake J

Mechanics was not bad… I went all fuming around because I can’t solve some of the problems at first so I went all crazy and automatically the F word came out of my mouth…REALLY I never noticed it until THG told me later at night…miraculously mechanics was a stroll at the park in the end…

Chem…duh…. Somehow just can’t write out the perfect answer for the question.. sigh.. therefore it’s like a burden dragging me … lol… won’t expect to get very highmarks for it….

And… and… I sat next to her in the same bus… she was as pretty as ever… but … I can’t sense any chemistry between us… she is what they call sulphuric acid and me? Another acidic substance of course… that’s why no feasible reaction… hahhahaha…

Spot the differences? Yeah WMP11 is out on beta since a few weeks ago. So here's a review of it. Obviously the interface has changed a lot. I think the sleek black interface of WMP 11 looks much cooler than the previous version. Secondly microsoft made the WMP11 simpler. It's comprises all those basic necessity every avid music listener needs. But too bad, or maybe im dumb, i just can;t find the preview for the length of the songs. And yeah MSN music has been replaiced by URGE, a new music store from MTV, and whatever i dun care as if i buy music online. About the sound quality, i can;t find any flaw in it, as what casper mentioned earlier to me. And yeah i only use all those simple function the rest?? up to you all to find out.. But one thing for sure, they revamp the library, as all the songs will be sorted up in their album . and really they look much organized now.

Watched Da Vinci Code at 11.00pm yesterday...Pirated version of course, direct download to my laptop:p Which idiots say that it’s incomprehensible? Duh… If dun understand English just get the F*** off here.. The movie is like National Treasure amplified by 3 times, coz I prefer Tom Hanks more than Nicholas Cage hahaha. And Wow talking about the twist … Ian Mckellen, ermm sorry, Gandalf, argggh sorry Magneto.. no no no Lee. Yeah lee.. hahhah really got me fooled…

But 10 minutes towards the end, the story lost pace… until the end where she rest lying underneath the stars.. hahahha.. were tom hanks stands directly above the pyramid.. It was majestic …

And X Men 3? A total disappointment… Cyclops just appears for 5 minutes and no more.. what the heck.. he’s the leader of the X Men, just give him some credit please.. and professor X… dies like that… ewww gross… The show is simply too short.. and we can’t get enough of all the characters… And yeah, Angel should be standing so front in the poster.. He just appeared like how long? 5 minutes also? Still Magneto is the best… The were right, the older the guy becomes, the sexier he is.. hahah.. how about gal? I don’t know:p

Warning cliché starts here: Ops I did it a again…
I have always been a hot head and will always be…Habit dies hard…So how would I sound like in front of a diplomatic person? Barbaric of course. Sigh… Don’t want to talk about it anymore.. Just leave a bad taste in my mouth.. How stupid I can be? I seriously don’t know whether I’m hyper sensitive or what… Or maybe of my thoughts and anything… or maybe the people around me are not sensitive enough… or just simply we can’t communicate well in a non verbal way…

Another matter:
Is it wrong I write good stuff about me in my blog? … HEY read this.. THIS IS MY BLOG… lol!!! Joking… and by the way can I choose people to read it? Hahaha and who cannot read it.. Nah, just a thought, I’m vain.. what’s the point of writing one online if you do not want others to read it, might as well, buy a diary from the supermarket and write yourself one..

Hmmm.. thinking of taking off all those useless ads..

Secondly, all my theory papers are just 2 days ahead, and I can’t even feel the anxiety of taking them, no trepidation, no mood, nothing… Just not in the shape for it…

If you happened to read the 31st May 2006 edition of The Star, “Mandarin demand is discriminatory”, what will you assume? Ok before this I shall brief up those who haven’t read the article yet. Since there are a lot of races in Malaysia and there is a whole long list of sensitive issues here, the story goes like this:

The deputy prime minister urged the private sector to stop the practice of making it compulsory for local graduates to have a command of mandarin language.

And the motive behind it? There are about 32% of graduates that couldn’t secure a job last year.. So? Who are the jobless graduates? Those who cannot speak mandarin? Or we shall see it as “certain race”.

As what they say MALAYSIA is heading towards a developed nation status, so meaning everyone should be progressive. So if some certain race of graduates are left behind, why don’t they pick up the initiative of learning a new language. It’s no harm to learn a new ability. And some more, (here the cliché starts) the Chinese government has open up their market and we can feel the importance of mandarin. The “certain race” is trapped in their own community, lack of exposures, and too much feeding from the government that they cannot be independent.

Seriously I don’t see the act of private sectors to demand their employee to be multilingual as DISCRIMINATORY. We are competing in a global market and there won’t be any government backing for every task that we do. Do you all have time for a joke? Those “certain race” giving lecture in university can’t even utter a good phrase of English moreover speaking in Chinese. English is an international language and for those working in government university who are not proficient in English, where should they be? Go and teach in SEKOLAH KEBANGSAAN. And give way to those who are more eligible?

Ok, even if the prefer for mandarin command is taken down from the ads, and during the interview we compare these 2 resumes:

1. Language spoken : Mandarin, Malay, English
2. Language spoken : Malay, English (and this one couldn’t speak in English during the interview)

Which one will you choose? I rest my case.

And if that whatever Abdullah Awang of PAS DID win the election and become the PM. What can he do? He only knows how to speak in Malay or maybe some Arabic. Then? How is he going to communicate with the international society?

So this is the importance of learning more languages. From all above it’s still in the hand of the employer to select the most eligible employee fir a particular post.

It is undeniable the government is trying to protect some “certain race” but this is not a way to help them.. This is only a way to pamper them. Why should they worry? I thought the constituency has secure a 30% seats for the race. Quota fillers I would say. So if the “certain race” can’t handle the heat, why don’t they just work for the government? Stable income, a lot of “minum kopi” time, high job prospect, no much supervising, less stress…

This world only cater for the fittest, and if you are not that good enough… why don’t you just get lost… You are lucky cause you are in the “certain race” category, or else…

Last question, are you COMPETITIVE enough?
